LONDON FASHION WEEK 2026

THE BANSHEE SCREAM

Banshee of Savile Row presents The Banshee Scream: a collection from a house that came to Savile Row to shake up the establishment and will not be quiet.

Our third London Fashion Week collection was staged inside the legendary Gin Palace in Holborn, styled by Aldene Johnson, the looks were finished with Victorian-era jewellery from Peace Vintage, while violinist Anna Phoebe provided a haunting, atmospheric live score throughout the show.

The show unfolded in three distinct sections, with models making their way around the pub, pausing at each booth to give guests a view of every look. As the models moved through the space, the show brought the pub to life, its dark Victorian interiors creating a theatrical backdrop for the collection, while Anna Phoebe’s violin performance added to the atmosphere.

For this collection, creative director Ruby Slevin turned to Gráinne Mhaol (Grace O’Malley), the sixteenth-century Pirate Queen of Ireland, who commanded her own fleet along the Connacht coast and is said to have sailed to England to meet Queen Elizabeth I as an equal. Slevin imagined how Gráinne might dress today, and found in her a mirror for what Banshee has set out to do on Savile Row: the same instinct to unsettle a structure built without women in mind, carried from the seas of the west of Ireland to the tailoring houses of Mayfair.

The result is a collection imbued with a dark, gothic, romantic spirit, worn with the bearing of a queen. Ruffled shirts and pussybow silk blouses soften structured tuxedos reimagined in double-breasted denim and bold stripe; Linton tweed opera coats and Harris tweed coats with velvet top collars sit alongside three-piece business suits in chalkstripe, corduroy and Donegal tweed.

Tartan runs through kilt skirts, full length coats and worker suits; velvet waistcoats, trousers and three-piece suits in shades of purple, blue and burgundy. Liberty prints and silk chiffon shirts bring in a lighter touch, while wide-leg and flared trousers give the tailoring its swagger. Throughout, garments are finished with antique buttons and trims drawn from Slevin’s personal archive.

As with every Banshee garment, each piece in the collection is hand-cut and constructed on a full floating canvas, true to the house’s bespoke technique: precision, cloth and craft transformed into a fashion-forward, unapologetically feminine expression.

As a bespoke tailoring house, Banshee does not adhere to the traditional ready-to-wear calendar. This is a seasonless, see-now buy-now collection, designed to transcend the seasons rather than belong to a single moment. Each piece is made to be worn, cherished and passed down. Garments with the longevity to become heirlooms in their own right.

Ritual over rules. Craft over noise. Presence over permission.
