ABOUT BANSHEE

Banshee of Savile Row, the only fully bespoke tailoring house for women on Savile Row, combines traditional bespoke Savile Row construction with contemporary female tailoring. Irish tailor and designer, Ruby Slevin, founded Banshee in 2019, the name inspired by powerful female symbolism and Irish mysticism. 

With the use of velvets, cashmere, tweeds, soft wool, corduroys, silks, seersuckers and linens, each piece is carefully stitched by hand to create clothing alchemy. Crafting suits, blazers, trousers, waistcoats, shirts, skirts and overcoats, get in touch to start your bespoke journey.

Our suits are all unique and one of a kind, bespoke and made for you. We are anti trend and advise you on the silhouette of suit that accentuates you. Whether it’s a single, double breasted, or cropped jacket we have you covered. Our trousers are cut to be high or low waisted and are tailored to your body whether you like cigarette, bootcut, flares, wide leg or a classic straight leg. Our team of female tailors provide a truly personal service. When we meet for your initial design consultation, we assess your lifestyle and tailoring needs. This enables us to make you a bespoke garment that will elevate and integrate with your existing wardrobe. 

All women are unique. We will advise you on the most beautiful silhouette to accentuate your finest features, making you feel your best. We don’t follow fashion trends, believing that bespoke clothing is timeless, crafted to accentuate your individual style. Together, we carefully consider every aspect of your garment to ensure the proportions are in balance for your body shape. As women, we rarely fit into ‘industry standards’, so it is important that Banshee creates unique and personal clothing, with the ultimate fit.

Bespoke really does mean bespoke. We take between fifteen and thirty of your measurements in order to create your own unique pattern.

Your pattern is unique to your shape, but we can still play with all the design details every time you create something new. We always keep each clients pattern, and we can refine and adjust it to your wishes with each new creation.
